Overview
Grid Net is developing open, interoperable, policy-based network management software and communications product reference designs for the utility industry’s Smart Grid, including:
- Grid Net’s PolicyNet Smart Grid NMS™ software, which enables the delivery of secure, scalable and high-performing Smart Grid services, such as Smart Metering and Distribution Automation.
- WiMAX smart meter and smart modem reference designs, which Grid Net has licensed to GE Energy, for use in GE’s advanced meter and modem product family bundled with Grid Net’s PolicyNet software.
